LAMBARÉNÉ, Gabon – The Fête des Cultures de l’Ogooué continued to thrive in Lambaréné, with the festival’s second day offering a vibrant display of Gabon’s cultural diversity.
The event, which commenced on the esplanade of the Town Hall, featured a variety of cultural activities, including traditional dances, music, gastronomy, artisanal crafts, and art exhibitions.
The festival, organized by Mayor Guy — Pierre Biteghe, aims to celebrate the cultural heritage of Lambaréné and stimulate the local economy through cultural tourism. It provides a platform for the expression of artistic talent and a chance to promote traditional and contemporary Gabonese identities. Visitors had the opportunity to explore local products, such as plant-based beverages, sugarcane, ginger-based drinks, as well as traditional masks, woven fabrics, and various art pieces.

The third and final day of the festival is set to include a tombola, cultural performances, and a popular concert.
The event will conclude with the distribution of certificates to participants.
