Riyadh Condemns RSF Attacks, Foreign Meddling in Sudan. Regional officials confirmed that the latest Saudi statement came as heavy fighting spreads through central and western Sudan following the fall of el — Fasher to RSF units last October. Independent observers say the war has internally displaced more than eight million people and contributed to acute food shortages affecting roughly half the country’s population.
The government stated in its communiqué that the paramilitary group must “immediately cease violations” and resume compliance with international humanitarian law, though it did not identify the foreign parties it accuses of interference.
