Gateway Stream Media, together with Massive Events and Roughmix, will stage the Afro Culture Connect international music showcase on 4 April 2026 at the Harare International Convention Centre (HICC), uniting Zimbabwean headliner Jah Prayzah and Jamaican reggae singer Alaine.
The concert, themed “A Tale of Two Cities,” is designed to spotlight African and Caribbean musical heritage in one night of shared performance.
Elton Kurima, Manager of Gateway Stream Media, said the event celebrates the longstanding musical bond between Zimbabwe and Jamaica. “The event will showcase two outstanding headline acts — Zimbabwe’s music superstar Jah Prayzah and Jamaican reggae sensation Alaine. They will be supported by a dynamic and energetic line-up of local performers, bringing together a rich blend of musical styles and cultural expression,” Kurima stated.
Supporting acts confirmed for the bill are Feli Nandi, Xiba, Nisha T, Kadjah, Volts JT, Ninety6, Raymar, Ngwere Diki, Kadiki. Host duties will be handled by Templeman MC Mox, with additional sets from Tanaman Yahya Goodvibes and DJ Eve.
Kurima promised an immersive production, noting that Alaine’s dancehall-tinged reggae and Jah Prayzah’s contemporary Zimbabwean sound will share the same stage. “Afro Culture Connect is more than just a concert — it’s a celebration of identity, music, and cultural exchange that unites audiences through shared African and Caribbean heritage,” he added.
Gateway Stream Media, an award — winning subsidiary of Rainbow Tourism Group, has presented major shows since 2020 including Jah Prayzah’s Maita Baba album launch, the Redefined Show, the Ada Ehi Gospel Show, the Shutdown Show, the Harare leg of the City to City Show, and the recent Nubian Notes Concert.
