The mission, which included representatives from the Bangui City Council, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the PRUCAC technical team, and implementing partners, inspected the rehabilitation work on the Fayama collector and the ENAM collector improvements in the 2nd Arrondissement of Bangui.
The visit allowed participants to assess the progress of the works, evaluate the accomplishments made so far, and engage with various stakeholders involved in their implementation.
The PRUCAC project, funded by the World Bank, aims to enhance drainage infrastructure, mitigate flood risks, and strengthen community resilience against climatic uncertainties.
The AGETIP — CAF is executing the works, focusing on urban drainage systems that directly impact residents’safety and mobility, particularly during the rainy season.

A local source noted the improved conditions, stating, “Before, it was very difficult to cross during the rainy season.
