Agadir — Morocco’s Ministry of Health and Social Protection has initiated the “Chikaya Santé”digital platform, a comprehensive system for managing healthcare complaints. The platform’s launch was marked by a ceremony in Rabat, attended by Health Minister Amine Tehraoui, signifying Morocco’s commitment to a more transparent and responsive healthcare sector.
The “Chikaya Santé”platform is a key component of a larger reform effort to update the current system for addressing health service complaints. The ministry aims to enhance communication with citizens and improve the efficiency of complaint handling through the deployment of a dedicated center staffed with over 20 professionals.
The platform provides a multi — channel approach for complaint submission, including telephone, online portal, email, WhatsApp, and SMS, aiming to simplify procedures and broaden access for citizens nationwide.
Minister Tehraoui emphasized the platform’s role in reinforcing the health system’s culture of listening and building public trust in healthcare services. The system’s pillars include a national listening center with advanced digital tools, an integrated digital system for complaint tracking, and a clear framework for effective processing. The ministry invites citizens to use the platform’s online portal or the toll-free number 0801 00 53 53 to submit their complaints.
