Bamenda, Cameroon — Humanitarian access in Cameroon’s North-West and South-West regions has been severely impeded by at least 33 documented constraints since January 2026.
The challenges are compounded by non — State armed groups’lockdowns and the use of improvised explosive devices, posing risks to civilians and hindering aid efforts.
The disruptions have led to significant delays in humanitarian operations, particularly in the South — West, where bureaucratic hurdles have further complicated the situation. Education is also under threat, with six attacks in the North-West and two in the South-West reported over the same period.
