Cybastion Launches Office in Gabon, Bolsters African Digital Transformation Efforts. Libreville, Gabon — Cybastion, a global technology company focused on digital sovereignty and cybersecurity, has officially opened a new office in Gabon, underscoring its commitment to fostering secure and inclusive digital ecosystems across Africa.

S. Emphasizing the strategic importance of digital sovereignty in national development agendas.
The new Gabon office, which marks Cybastion’s expansion in Africa, is part of a broader strategy to support African nations in their digital transformation journeys.
The company’s presence in Gabon includes the construction of a state-of-the-art sovereign data center, which aims to strengthen national control over data, enhance cybersecurity operations, and facilitate the delivery of advanced digital services. Antonia Oliveira, appointed as the Managing Director of Cybastion Gabon, will lead country operations and business development. She brings extensive experience in project management and strategic communications, having previously served as the Marketing and Communications Director at ANPI-Gabon.
“Cybaston’s approach goes beyond infrastructure deployment, placing people at the center of digital development,” Oliveira stated at the launch. Her appointment reflects the company’s focus on local execution and institutional engagement.
The Gabon office launch also featured the introduction of Africa DigiEmpower, Cybastion’s flagship digital workforce initiative.
Administered by the THEYA Foundation, the program is designed to provide 1,000 young Gabonese with in-demand digital skills through free, accredited training courses.
In 2025, Cybastion expanded into four new markets in Africa—Gabon, Guinea, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Angola—and initiated major digital transformation projects across West and Central Africa.
The company’s Digital Fast Track program integrates sovereign data centers, cybersecurity solutions, digital platforms, and workforce development to address critical infrastructure and human-capital gaps.
As Cybastion enters 2026, the Gabon office launch signifies the next phase of its Africa strategy.
