The Zen (100MW) and Bergriver (94MW) wind farms, with a combined capacity of 190MW, are set to contribute to the country’s renewable energy landscape.
The projects are co — owned by Acciona Energia, H1 Holdings, and Chariot Generation and Trading, with Acciona holding the majority stake.

In addition to the ownership structure, Etana Energy (Pty) Limited, a South African electricity trading platform in which Chariot Generation and Trading has a 34% economic interest, has signed a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the entire electricity generated by the wind farms.
