LIBREVILLE, Gabon — The 2026 Baccalauréat exams are ongoing across Gabon, following the commencement of technical and professional baccalaureate tests and written EPS (Physical Education and Sports) exams for candidates deemed ineligible, according to the Gabonese Press Agency. Since Saturday, candidates from technical and professional streams have been writing in various subjects on their curriculum. Concurrently, candidates exempted from EPS practice have been participating in written exams tailored for them, as per the educational authorities’provisions.
The session will enter a new phase on Tuesday, July 14, with the afternoon start of the written general baccalaureate exams.
The B Series candidates will kick off the exams with the economics paper, marking the beginning of the tests for general education streams.
The exams will proceed according to the schedule set by the Ministry of State for National Education.
