Gabon: Sogame Equip Opens New Store in Ngouoni. Ngouoni, Gabon — 20 March 2026 (AGP) – The mayor of Ngouoni commune in southeastern Gabon, Marie Joséphine Bongo-Tchila, officially opened the new Sogame Equip store on Friday.
The event was attended by Grégory Laspreses, the director central non alimentaire of the group Cecagadis, and Léonel Ondy Ebounou, the prefect of the department of Lekabi-Lewolo, according to the Gabonese Press Agency.
Following the openings in Libreville and Port — Gentil, Sogame Equip continues its expansion by establishing a presence in Ngouoni.
The company aims to bring its services closer to the populations of the departments of Lekabi — Lewolo, Djouri-Agnili, and Lékoni-Lékoni, and to facilitate access to quality materials and equipment.
In her speech, Mayor Bongo — Tchila expressed the community’s satisfaction with welcoming this new commercial structure.
She commended the efforts of Sogame Equip’s teams and the facilitators who made the project a reality. Laspreses, the director central non alimentaire, explained the strategic choice to locate in Ngouoni: “We have always been committed to bringing proximity to our customers.
The difficulties in supply in the region convinced us of the importance of establishing a local hardware store capable of supporting local development.
Our quality products at the best quality — price ratio should no longer be reserved for only the populations of Libreville or Port-Gentil.”He expressed his wish to make this new store a space for exchange and services, in line with the warm welcome received in the commune.
The new store is welcomed with satisfaction by the local population, who are looking forward to easier access to essential materials and equipment.
