CAIRO, Egypt — The Sultan Qaytbay Mosque-Mausoleum, a historic landmark in Cairo, has been successfully restored and reopened to the public, marking a significant milestone in the preservation of Egypt’s cultural heritage.
The restoration project, spanning from October 2022 to November 2024, was a collaborative effort that involved repairing the external stonemasonry and the majestic dome of the complex.
