The training session, which will run from Tuesday through Saturday, July 18, is led by FIVB-certified level III coach, Olivier Batonga. Batonga arrived in Libreville on July 12, where he has been engaged in a four-day intensive to share his expertise with local coaches.
The event is part of a larger effort to professionalize volleyball in Gabon, which includes the recent certification of 32 coaches who completed a level 1 coaching program between April 21 and 25, 2026.
