Marrakech — The Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Academy is preparing to establish its presence in Fez, Morocco, with a grand opening scheduled for Sunday. The new site will be situated on the Euromed University campus, marking the third Moroccan city to host the renowned French football club’s youth development program.
The opening in Fez will be marked by a series of activities including discovery sessions, training sessions instructed by PSG — certified coaches, friendly matches, and targeted talent identification exercises. These activities will be structured to cater to different age groups with specific time slots and are subject to registration, which is limited to a select number of participants per session.
This expansion in Fez follows the establishment of PSG’s first Moroccan academy in Casablanca in September 2024. The Casablanca academy, located in the Tamaris area, offers comprehensive facilities including a full-size football pitch and courts for various football formats. The facility is designed to accommodate boys and girls aged 4 to 18 and was inaugurated in the presence of Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi, a PSG player since 2021. Hakimi’s role has been pivotal in fostering a stronger connection between PSG and Moroccan fans.
In August 2025, the PSG Academy expanded further in Morocco with two new sites in Rabat. These centers, located in the Agdal neighborhood and Hassan II Park, provide an array of sports amenities and are aimed at children aged 4 to 12. Both Rabat academies are under the guidance of Daoud Boulanger, a UEFA and CAF-licensed coach with extensive experience in both French and Moroccan football.
The PSG Academy, founded in 2005, currently operates in 21 countries, boasting over 210 training sites and enrolling more than 50,000 children globally. The club has signaled its intention to continue expanding its footprint in Morocco, aiming to solidify the country as a key node within its international academy network.
