Mouila, Gabon — In a bid to reinforce academic skills during the holiday period, the Réseau NAFIME has successfully initiated a summer course program in Mouila, Ngounié province, attracting more than 800 students.
The program, which commenced on July 13th and is scheduled to conclude on August 14th, is under the patronage of the Minister of Tourism, Pr Marcelle Ibinga-Itsitsa.
The Secretary — General of the Réseau NAFIME, Noémie Mihindou Madjinza, expressed satisfaction with the course’s progress during a recent visit to the schools E and D in Mouila. She highlighted the importance of maintaining academic momentum, noting that the initiative is part of an effort to sustain learning gains over the break.
The curriculum offered includes French, reading, and mathematics, with educators reporting positive engagement from the students. To encourage excellence, the Réseau NAFIME plans to award educational kits to the top ten students from each level at the program’s closing ceremony. This summer course program is a testament to the Réseau NAFIME’s commitment to supporting young people’s social and economic development.
