Mounana, Gabon — July 23, 2025 – Deputy Rodrigue Bokoko of the district of Mounana has embarked on an extensive tour, distributing essential equipment to local governments, communities, and economic actors in the Haut-Ogooué province, southeastern Gabon, according to the Gabonese Press Agency. This initiative is a continuation of the commitments made by the elected official during the recent legislative elections to strengthen public structures and support community initiatives.
The tour commenced with visits to the local police and gendarmerie stations, where Deputy Bokoko presented computers, printers, and brushcutters to enhance daily operations. He also supported the municipal administration by providing a significant amount of urban maintenance equipment to Mayor Emerick Cédric Maka Tongo, including multiple brushcutters, a lawn mower, wheelbarrows, shovels, machetes, and pioches.
In the village of Baya — Baboma, the chief received chairs, a brushcutter, and a gas stove.
A resident in the Rénovation neighborhood was assisted in outfitting their home with a refrigerator, a 32-inch television, and chairs.
A young entrepreneur in the Commercial quarter received hairdressing equipment to develop their business.
In the Sable quarter, a senior citizen was provided with chairs to support their trade. Finally, the residents of the Silence quarter were gifted 30 plastic chairs and a large public address system for community activities. Throughout the tour, recipients expressed their gratitude to Deputy Bokoko.
The deputy, in turn, encouraged the population to maintain unity, solidarity, and peace, announcing that additional social actions would be carried out before his upcoming parliamentary report.
